- Commitment data — goal text, deadline, stake amount, and visibility settings you enter.

- Usage data — pages visited, actions taken, and timestamps.
- Device information — browser type, operating system, and IP address.
- Cookies and session tokens — used to maintain your authenticated session.
Payment information
Payment processing is handled by our payment provider (Paddle). We do not store your full card details. We receive only transaction identifiers and status information necessary to process refunds.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the Service, including creating and managing your commitments.
- To send transactional emails: sign-in links, deadline reminders, and outcome confirmations.
- To process payments and refunds.
- To display public commitment pages when you choose public visibility.
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To improve and develop the Service.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
4. Public Commitments
If you set a commitment to Public, the following information will be visible to anyone with the link:
- Your display name (or the username portion of your email if no name is set)
- Your commitment goal text
- The stake amount
- The deadline
- The outcome (success or failure), once reported
If you set a commitment to Private, none of this information is publicly accessible.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data and commitment history for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will permanently delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial transaction records).
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data:
- Paddle — payment processing. Subject to Paddle's Privacy Policy.
- Resend — transactional email delivery. Receives your email address to deliver messages.
We only share the minimum data necessary with each provider.
7. Cookies
We use cookies solely for authentication purposes (session management). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but this will prevent you from signing in to the Service.
